I am trying to find any relatives of Princess May Keen born approx 1899 sister to Frances born 1896. Both were born in South Africa but show on 1901 and 1911 census as being in the birmingham/warwickshire area as 'visitors'

Have you looked on here already....some has a Frances but born in 1899

Frances is shown in the 1901 as being Niece to Emily A Mackenzie.
In 1911 they are both shown as Niece to Emily A Mackenzie. They have a brother, also shown, Walter Henry who was born in 1901 in Grimsby. Their mother is there in 1911 shown as Emily's sister Elizabeth Pheobe Keen born Birmingham in 1862. On the original image she says she has been married for 14 years and had 3 children all of which are still living.
Have you checked for marriages and births of children for the three of them?

In 1891 Elizabeth is still at home with her father so between then and 1901 she appears to have married (can't locate it) gone to south Africa, had 2 children and returned to work in England.
There is a military record of a Walter Keen born 1852 Staffordshire who at some point in his military career was in South Africa. There isn't much of the record left unfortunately and it's a tenuous link at best............but you never know. The birth certificate of the Son Walter will tell you who he was hopefully.

This looks like the death of Elizabeth

It would seem that the sisters maiden name was Rice

It looks as though they had 2 children. I will PM those birth details for you.

There are some addresses on The Birmingham elec roll for this time -1912-1955 and some names which fit in with those posted by Astra so can add them on here or maybe PM you with them if it is going to be any use . Looks like the walter / rosina marriage is correct . Also Primrose still single in 1935 ( from memory ) so 1937 marriage also looking correct.
