I am looking for any information on the sons of George KEEN who was my gt-grandfather. He was Scottish and his wife was Susan SULLIVAN who was Irish. They had seven sons, one of them John KEEN (born 23.01.1873) in Islington, is my grandfather. I am trying to trace his brothers and their descendants. John KEEN lived in Highgate and the Upper Holloway area, and also lived later on in Gillespie Road. His eldest son, Charles Henry KEEN, is my father (born 23.01.1909). Hi my name is Zoe Keen I have just started researching our family tree. my father is Arthur Keen born 1924, his father arthur keen born 1902, his father George keen married a Harriette Matilda Walker it was around the Islington area. my dad's dad had brothers and sisters alice, florence, emma, henry, george, albert and i am sure there were others. maybe there is a connection becuase my dad aways thought that we were related to John L Sullivan the last of the bare knuckle fighters and as you have the name Sullivan?? please let me know what you think |
