Looking for descendants of JOHN WILLIAM KEEN-born approx 1855 Gloucestershirel known as a Marble Mason ( he made grave stones ) journey man-- he lost his leg in Boar war so had a wooden peg leg. His father was named Thomas Keen John William Keen lived with Emma Jeynes until 15th April 1900 when they got married niether had been ,married before - John was 45 yrs and Emma 40yrs. Emma was from Worcesershire and had a baby girl Lilian born in 1879-Worcestershire just before taking up with John Keen. They lived in Bedminster and B'ham-- Their children were as follows JANE KEEN b 1882 B'ham Wark's FREDERICK KEEN b 1885 WILLIAM KEEN b 1888 LUCY EMILY b 1890 b in Bedminster Bristol Gloucestershire MABEL 1893 GILBERT b 1895 SYDNEY JOHN KEEN b 1903 married Fanny Elizabeth Berril the family moved around and some of the children were born in Birmingham Warwickshire U.k and others in Bedmimster Gloucerershire- after they got married they settled down in Birmingham Warwickshire - John died in 1931 in Birmingham--would appreciate any leads.-or info-please -thanks |
