Susan Report 11 Apr 2009 20:04

I'm hoping someone can clear up a little mystery for me. My Ancestor Sarah Frances Rayson was born in Kings Cliff, Northamptonshire, England in 1830. I have a birth date of 30 September 1830 ( I think I got this date from another members tree on Ancestry), but I have just discovered a Christening date on Family Search of 13 September 1830, obviously one of the dates must be wrong. I'm not sure which one.

Can any one help?

Sue

This has a batch number so must be taken direct from parish records - I would go with this date.

They were a busy family - 11 children!!

Thanks for the reply NinjaLady, I'll asume the christening date is correct then, and I'll change Sarah's birth to just say 1830 for now.

Welcome to the boards Adrian.

Are you hoping to contact Susan who first posted her query almost 6 years ago? If so, try clicking on her name and you will be able to send her a Personal Message. If she still has the same email address as when she registered with GR, then they will notify her she has a message waiting. Unfortunately even if she does get the message, their are various reasons why she might not answer.

If you need help with your own research, then suggest you start a new thread of your own, giving as much detail as you already know.
