Elected Labour Mayor of Stepney in 1936, My great-aunt subsequently (I believe) moved to Leicester (sometime after 1938) and became involved in local politics there - possibly in connection with old peoples welfare.

Any information on her relatives or her life before or after these events would be appreciated.

I am connecting re Helena Roberts, Mayor of Stepney in the 1930's - she was my great great aunt. Guess that means we are related somehow?!
