Trying to find any information on Edward Shea born +- 1861 Ireland. (on one census has him down as born Dublin?)

Thanks for this information but how do I go about getting records from ireland as in where they were born, marriage certificates.
I have managed to find a list of the entire family living in greenwich in the 1911 census which confirms the surname as O'Shea and I have applied for a copy of an Edward O'Sheas death certificate which may give me more information.

Just checked the 1891 census for the same family you gave me and it shows Edward still living at home which rules out this family as Edward Is already married by then and in 1891 census living with wife and family (census record has name as shea living @ 83 Roan st greenwich). I was all excited there for a second. All I do know is his fathers name is Edward as well.

So far I have found Edward O' Shea(Shea, Oshea) in the following census
1911 census head aged 50 total children born alive 11, 1 died and 10 still living shown as labourer docks born at sea, surname down as O' Shea, married 27yrs
1901 census Oshea (on paper O'shea) living at 14 woodwharf greenwich
1891 census shea living @ 83 Roan St greenwich

I think you would have to buy the cert but you couldn't be certain that this is your Edward. I have done a search for Edward b1861 in the index but nothing obvious is coming up.

Still searching for anything on Edward Thomas O' Shea/Shea born 1861 Dublin. He was a merchant seaman and died in greenwich in the seamans hospital in 1915.
