Emigration from France to England

My Grandparents Louis Voinquel c1877 & Lucy Rothmund c1881 came to England in about 1900, from France & Austria.

I have all the information about them about them in England, but I would like to know how they got to England.

I have tried looking for them under emigration, but that seems to be to & from Australia,Canada,& America,nothing from Europe.

Can anyone help me please.

The UK incoming passenger list doesn't cover passengers from Europe, just from overseas.

Hi,
Where was lucy born as according to the 1911 census she was born in Mancester Cheshire and states she is British.

Hello Joan

I did know that according to the 1911 census it says that my grandmother
was born in Birmingham, & her fathers name was Constantine.

I can't find her birth records anywhere. (if she was born in Birmingham why is that ? )
According to her marriage certificate it gave her born in c1881

I was told by my mother that she & her sister ran away from home,& went into service.
