I am looking for any information on the Hill family from Little Packington and Coleshill, Warwickshire.

Thomas Hill b.c1771 Little Packington
Jane Bardell b. 1772 Coleshill.

Don't forget that ages on the 1841 census for all people over the age of 15 were usually rounded down to the nearest 5


so someone age 70 on the census could be between ages 70-74, born ca 1767-1771

The Thomas with parents John and Mary is already on my tree.

Vera, the entry for Thomas Hill with mother Elizabeth Earl looks very promising. There were severalmembers of the Hill family in Little and Great Packington so perhaps his father was one of them.

My grandmother's second husband was a Joseph Hill, the son of George Hill and Eliza Neal (formerly Smith) and was born in Little Packington in 1886.

I have copies of a couple of studio photographs from about 1880 to 1900 which came from my grandmother's effects, unfortunately neither are named. I'm sure they are of the same person. I think they are probably of the Hill family and the most likely one would be George Hill, who would have been born 1863.
I would be pleased to e-mail copies of the photos if anyone thinks they might be able to identify the sitter!!!!!
