Margaret - we just needed you to continue on ONE thread!

So sorry, I seem to be doing everything wrong. I really need to know if John and Margaret Stainforth nee Crowther and more children after Leonard born 1910 in Hull.
Any help would be much appreicated

I can't see any further children born after 1911 with a Stainforth father and mother maiden name Crowther.

Leonard's birth appears to have been registered under Sculcoates:

if that is correct, it could be that one of these following births might be his sibling, but they could just as easily have other parents. Neither appear to have been born in time to be named in census 1911 (which might have helped eliminate them).

As I say, either or neither might be siblings to Leonard.

Was Priscilla the name of John's mother?

There's nothing coming up on FreeBMD ....

If you believe Leonard might have had a sister, then I would go for this one of the two I posted earlier:

BUT it's pure guesswork based on the forename.

Do you have reason to believe there was a second child? If so, might be worth spending the £9.25 on the cert.

Are you sure that Crowther was Margaret's maiden name?

She would have been over 30 when she married Stainforth

Crowther appears to be her maiden name

Thank you all for your help. You have all hit on the right family but the children suggested( born after 1911) are definitely not my ancestors. I am beginning to think the scraps of information I had are not correct. Thanks again.
