Chico, before I go digging up loads of records that you may already have, could you be specific about what you're trying to find?

Sorry can't help you there due to Canadian privacy laws and lack of available records. Perhaps someone native to Canada might be able to help.

Seeing as these people could still be living you need to state what your connection to them is and why you're trying to find them.

You should edit the heading of your thread to include Canada.

Chico

Genes Reunited is the same no matter where you joined it! They all bring you to the UK site!!

Unfortunately, as MC posted, privacy laws in canda are much stricter than in the UK ........... it's known as the 50 / 75 or 80 / 100 year rule.

What it really means is that we cannot obtain birth/marriage/death information for vital statistics.

Plus you do have to know which Province the people lived in .............. there is no central registry.

Try googling for Vital Statistics Canada, and see what you come up with.

To change the title of the thread ....................

clikc on Edit in the first post that you made (the "opening post")

It should then show along with the title.

Now you can type in Canada to the end of the heading.

Click Submit

Be very careful not to click on Delete, or you will lose the whole thread!

Good luck
