A railwayman, travelling with Caroline (45) and Neville (13) a student. They were headed to Orchard Cottage, Exeter.

Thank you everyone for responding so promptly. I now know Frederick's wife's name and that of her parents. Also, the ships he used to immigrate and to return to the UK, also his date of death. Sad to read his son had passed on too.

Does anyone know if Neville and his wife had children and if so, where are they living ?

Frederick was my grandfather's brother who visited us in the UK telling us stories of skating in his backyard during the very cold winter. I was a keen ice skater at this time so was fascinated with his stories.

Eileen - where might the son's name of Stanley come from?

There are similar voters lists in Utopia to the one above for 1957 & 1958, Neville is recorded with Mrs Chubb and Frederick.

As these voters lists don't give relationships or even full addresses it's hard to say who is with who.

Thank you. Sorry, 'Stanley' was a mistake on my behalf, the son was 'Neville' and I vaguely remember stories of a fireman. Elizabeth Chubb could have been Neville's wife or even a daughter ? Does a later voters list mention any children of Neville's?
