Have also found the deaths of Mary, aged 2, and Caroline, aged 1.

Still looking for anything more on John Lloyd Jackson.

Hi Mike

Many thanks. Sadly I think I have found John's death. Buried 19/01/1819 at St. George the Martyr, Southwark. From Kent Road as in the baptism of Mary in 1820.

From John's age it is possible that this was a second marriage.

It looks as though Mary was baptised twice - possibly Phoebe had recovered a little from her birth and the previous death of her husband and had Mary baptised again on Christmas Day 1820.

Are the hospital records on Ancestry or Find My Past?

Thanks again

maybe she was christened later, there is no dob given

Gee

Gee Report 13 Apr 2014 12:52

On a second look, it maybe does say Martha!

If she was born in 1805, she would have been mighty young to have married before the 1822 marriage

Unfortunately is DOES say Martha Ginns :-( :-(

Looks like Martha to me but you never know !

I wonder if the crossed out name in 1822 is Phoebe writing Brigden by mistake

Gee

Gee Report 13 Apr 2014 12:45

Hi Mike

Yes, the birth in 1797 is that of Richard and also the death in 1869.

Thanks

Dea

Dea Report 13 Apr 2014 12:36

I know that you say 'your' Phoebe was born c 1796 but I DO like that post above from Maddie :

"Name: Phoebe Barbey
Gender: Female
Christening Date: 21 Jul 1805
Christening Place: St Mary's, Lambeth, Surrey, England"

because that is what I read that crossed out word as! - either that or Barley which I thought the witness Robert signed.

There must be something in this.

Have to cook lunch just now but will be back later.
