Find Ancestors

He is my 3rd Gt Grandfather. He married 03-07-1831 St Thomas Heptonstall to Betty (Elisabeth) Crossley. They had three children, Thomas 1833, Sarah 1835, William 1838. Thomas and Sarah were baptised at Myrtle Grove Independent Chapel, Eastwood 26-06-1837, at this time the old St Thomas, Heptonstall had burnt down. Since marriage William and Betty lived at Edge End, Erringden. William died of Typhus Fever 26-10-1840, he was buried at St Thomas Heptonstall 28-10-1840. I cannot find his grave. On his marriage and death certificate it states his birth year as 1810. I have failed to find his birth, baptism or parentage. I have details from a family tree who's William is the same as mine but have a birth date of 1806 from Sowerby but goes no further and I have not found this record or been able to get in touch with the tree owner. Help and/or advice welcome.
