Trying to find death records for a Fred Sanders born 1853 birmi ngham England u k to a Henry and Harriett Sanders,he may have emigrated to N Z after 1880 he was a jeweller. he was married to a Matilda Herridge but they were not together, I have found her records here.

Hi

The reason for his death date is that on the 1901 census for his wife she is a widow, but on the 1891 for his wife she is married.

The Frederick born 1857 wasn't ours. I haven't altered it on Genes yet.
His name was Frederick

The above family names are correct.

Frederick isn't on any census after 1871 which makes me think he emigrated. .

he was married to Matilda Elsie Herridge. in Birmingham 1876 they had 2 daughters. I have found the Herridge descendants they have no info.
Matilda dau Elsie E married a Wendover, she died and he remarried, and had children, I have traced their descendansts, they have no info either except for a photo of Elsie E

Partly my fault, Mike -
in response to a PM from Valerie, I advised her to add some mention of New Zealand to the title of her original thread, in hope of attracting the attention of someone there who might be able to look up other info.

However, unfortunately she has started a new thread instead.

Researching:
Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

...in case it helps - the 'National Library of NZ' (on-line) has an 'Ask Us' librarian service. Hopefully they can trace him/family from electoral rolls (past & present) ...and also any possible newspaper death notices.
