they were married in Fullham 1st Q 1931

they had 9 children Dorothy 1935, Donald 1936, David 1941, Doreen 1942, Douglas 1946, Derek 1947, Daniel 1949, Desmond 1950 and Dennis 1951 all born Fullham

i know Victor died in 1st Q 1984 in his 70s poss Essex

i don't have Ruby, i was told 9 children but it is poss

where have you found death info as I have been unable to find a death index in 1984

looks like he died in 1979

Step 1. Marriage certificate.

determine his age in 1931 and who he names as his father his father's occupation.

Working back find his birth cert.
Check father's name is the same.

If father was born before 1911 look for him on 1911 census.



repeat to ensure that you follow the correct Doris Smith

Get the marriage cert if you want facts

His birth does not appear to have been registered as Victor Seago in England or Wales

His death cert should have his POB on it, but that's only as accurate as the info known by the person registering it

Have you contacted either of the 2 people who have him in their trees on here (one of them could be one of those sons)?

Yes he did die in 1984 according to his granddaughter that went to his funeral in the February of 1984 & she says he was in his 70s

well there isn't a death index for 1984??
interesting the only Victor in electoral roll on Ancestry in Fulham is listed with a Edith Seago

Did his granddaughter say where he died, or where the funeral was held, as we cannot see a death for him in 1984?
