Please can anybody give information on the names and dates of janes parents and details about her marriage to john newport in 1868, bethnal green. I know john was born in 1842/3 in high worth, Wiltshire and Jane was born in 1848 in bermondsey, but am stuck on janes family. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Looks as if Jane was baptised twice as the 1848 baptism that Ann posted gives the same DOB as the 1847 (23 June 1847); abode in both given as Workhouse.

Again many thanks to all. My difficulty was the number of Jane johnsons born around that time and being new to this not being able to see the wood for the trees. Baptised twice, eh ... Curiouser and curiouser....
