Born Sept 1917 in Glasgow. Her parents should be John McLeod and Jemima Gray. Looking for any info on Jemima

Hello Simon, as I see it you have two options:

1 - Order her birth certificate via Scotland's People

2 - Search trees on here to see if anyone else is researching her

As MC says, her birth certificate should be on Scotland's people


SP is not a subscription site.

You have to buy credits in order to look at the records, and then you could find out the information on how to buy her birth certificate.



Most people are not willing to use their own money to buy credits on SP to use for other people ..... we are willing to use subscriptions!

I think it would be worth buying credits for Scotlandspeople as there is also a death on there in 1920 listed for a Jemima Gray McLeod born 1917.

The Jemima that married Mr. Creamer consistently appears on the London ERs as Jemima J Creamer.

Rootgather- you're right, also death is listed as Jemima J Creamer. So perhaps mistranscribed on that marriage.

As she was born in Scotland I think the 1920 death is more likely.
