Hi people,
My ancester , Louisa Wye born in 1847 in Belgrade Leicester UK, father William Wye mother Jane ( Vane ) in some census ,she married James William Abell ( Williamson ) in 1868, I have found her in the 1851 , and 1871 census , but not in the 1861 census, I know she died in 1901, can anyone help me with this please

Thank you for that info,I shall look into it ,as most of the family were in the shoe trade , and names were often misspelled

Louisa Wye married James William Able,July 13 1868, later changed his name to William Williamson ?? Children, Harriet Able,1868, married to Joseph Hubbard 1865 in 1891 Albert Edward Able 25 may 1875/1951 (my grandfather)married Caroline Clarke 1877/1926, in 1902 John William 5/5/1878 14/1/1965, married Harriet Smith, 1874/1963 and Clara Elizabeth ? in 1963 Frederick Able 1873 married Sarah Green in 1893 they all have the surname of Williamson James William Able was born 18/6/1847 , his parents were John Able and Mary Langford, John William Able 1826 and brother Joseph Able 1829, were the sons of Ann Able ( nee Sturgess) and George Able, when George died in 1843 Ann took up with James Williamson, but the boys married with the Able surname
