Find Ancestors

My ggrandfather b1886 in Bilston apparently walked out on his wife one day and was never heard of again. His name was Albert Frederick Currell and his wife was Rachel Ellen Aston. Rumour was there was another woman on the scene. I can trace his whereabouts up until 1935 and then...nothing. I would be grateful for any help. Thank you.

Is this his second marriage and as far as you have traced him? Or this could be the son perhaps.

Hi, everyone and thanks for all your replies :) I feel I should apologise for managing to confuse lots of you!

Albert frederick Currell b.1886 was the first of 4 generations of whom the 1st born was called Albert Frederick Currell... The one I can't find after 1935, was married to Rachel Ellen Aston. The Albert Frederick Currell who married Doris Evelyn Blower, was my grandfather. His son bears the same name (my uncle), and his son also is Albert Frederick Currell ( my cousin)!

Albert Frederick Currell b.1886 was married to Rachel Ellen Aston and on the marriage certificate it states the father as Alfred Cleatus Currell. I am waiting for his birth certificate to arrive as I can't find him either without this info.

To clarify, I am looking for Albert Frederick Currell b.1886 from anytime after 1935 when he was still living with his wife.

I will read all your replies to ensure I haven't missed any useful info. though.

I wonder if Arthur Cleatus Steel is a coincidence, re the unusual middle name or whether the family had a name change?
