Hi, need some help please.
I have John Wright Rich born 1852 at Tuxford, Notts, in the 1861 census he is living with his grandparents, as follows:. George Rich 53 born Tuxford. Elizabeth Rich wife 52 born Bassingham Lincs. Mary Rich 22 daughter in law, born Gamston. JOHN W RICH 9 Grandson born Tuxford. Anne Rich 4 gr.daughter. ..........Rich 6 months grandson.
I cannot find John's parents, surely Mary could't be John's mother as she is only 22 and there is no husband there also it says married not widow.
Could some-one look up George and Elizabeth in the 1841 and 1851 census please, hopefully some sons will show up and then I can try and find John's parents.
Thank you for helping Teresa :-(
