You probably would'nt find the ages on the marriage cert....they were normally put as 'Full age' or 'Minor' back then, even if there was an age, they may have lied |

Chris, unfortunately not as the registers that started in 1870 when the church opened are still the ones actively in use. I think I will have to take a trip to look at them, but as I am not local to that area I think it will have to wait until next Summer. |

Chris, Yes, this is the couple, they later moved to Holbeach Hurn. Unfortunately the parish registers from when the Church opened at Holbeach Hurn in 1870 are still in use, so there are no scans on line for me to check out baptisms, marriages & burials. |

Jan, you could be right as the census data has quite a bit of variation in his age & thus birth year. Not sure why this didn't come up in my own searches. |

John Cunnington born 1842, died between the census of 1901 & that for 1911. As far as I am aware he spent his whole life in the Holbeach area of Lincolnshire, certainly his widow was still resident at Holbeach Hurn at the 1911 census date. Can anyone help me track down a death record for him? |
