	Hello, Can you please help find the second marriage of Thomas John Ernest Roberts 1899-1958. He married Nellie Bailey 1900- 1945, in 1921 in Battersea.The second marriage is supposed to have taken place in or about 1948. but I have not been able to find it . Thank you

	You have the wrong death date for Nellie - this is her probate record: Nellie Roberts Probate Date:11 Aug 1944 Death Date:5 Dec 1943 Death Place:London, England Registry:Llandudno Of 30 Parsons Green, Fulham. Probate granted to husband Thomas John Ernest, haulage contractor. Effects £248 6s 4d

	Other thing, there could be some doubt about the 1948 marriage. Your Thomas J E was still living at 30 Parsons Green in 1947/8 according to the ERs, but there was another Thomas J E living at 27 Tregunter Road, Kensington in 1947/9, and 1950/1. So there could be two of them about. ADDED: Having looked again, Thomas was living at 30 Parsons Green on the 1946 ER, also at the address was Marjorie Hindmarsh so connects to the marriage.

	This is possibly Marjorie's first marriage... England & Wales, Marriage Index, 1916-2005 about Marjorie Payne Name:Marjorie Payne Spouse Name :Frederick S Hindmarsh Date of Registration:Jul-Aug-Sep 1939 Registration district:Fulham Inferred County:London Volume Number:1a Page Number:1588 There is a Hindmarsh/Payne birth in 1941

	O M G !!! Well I see I'll have to have a better look. Nellie Bailey was my Great Aunt and we thought the dates were right , so I think I'll have to take a hard copy of the post and ponder it over a good cuppa So good night to you I will let you know how I get on after reading :-S :-S :-S
