	Does anyone have any information on the origins of James timmins the father of phoebe timmins. Phoebe married William Chance the Glass maker and their family is well documented but I am more interested in the ancestors of James and his wife Eleanor. Any help would be appreciated. David Timmins

	Gone on - give us a clue. ;-) When was Phoebe Timmins born and roughly were?? People who read this board are unlikely to have previously researched this family, but are more than willing to look for other records or suggest routes for you to follow. If you want to contact people who have James in their family tree, then use the search all member trees facility and send messages to any tree owners.

	Thanks to everyone for their help but James Timmins's forebears remain a mystery. I did wonder if there was a connection to one of the Timmins families of the Sedgley/West Bromwich areas. regards David Timmins
