Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me with a problem.
He was born to a Hatton Brown and Evelina Sheepwash.Per the 1901 Census he is shown as being in Woolwich and head of a household,but does not give details of wife and children.
I am trying to find the census for 1891 but no luck so far.
As far as I know,he did not marry in Dover as I am trying to trace his wife's name and her home parish.

i found a emma sarah coddington born woolwich area 1867 but no marriage or no death for her in england could william and emma married abroad or never married best
send for the twins birth cert to find mothers name

Have just seen your reply dated 20th Jan[apologies].
Sounds to me that she could be the spouse and perhaps got married to William in Cape Town which explains the birth of Ernest jnr
Perhaps they were engaged before departure and decided to marry in South Africa.
With him being a Ships Steward the trip could have been an romantic adventure!
