Does anyone have access to St Philip's Church Cambridge parish records please? I am looking for a marriage Q.E. Sept 1918 Albert Hill to Dorothy Marshall and want to know where Albert was living and his occupation. My friend thinks his father served in the First World War but I can't find any record and thought maybe his occupation on his marriage certificate would give a clue. As this was his father's previous marriage I don't want to involve him in the expense of the certificate if I don't have to. Thank you anyone who can help.

Thank you so much. I am so grateful. This will make an old man very happy to find his father did serve. My friend is in his mid eighties and it means so much to him.

Also banns showing up although safc's post shows marriage by license. Perhaps they were going to have banns and then moved it forward.

Potty, that is fantastic. Thank you so much yes I would like the image please. I don't understand it as I spent this morning in the library which gives free access to the Ancestry website and couldn't find him and I have a subscription to the Findmypast and couldn't find it on there either.

Thank you very much for that. I don't think his son knows that he was discharged on health grounds.
