looking for 1881 please for a William Thomas born 23 Feb1843 at bryn bank, croesgoch llanrhian parish in pembrokeshire. he joined the merchant navy and died as a master of the liverpool barque the dryad on Start Point, Devon on 9 March 1891
was hoping to find him in 1871 and 1881 to see were he was serving on these census's he married martha lewis in 1873 at llanrhian church but they are down as full age :/ and his job is a mate in mercantile marine

Did the couple have any children?

And what were their occupations please?

Were they bachelor and spinster at the time of the marriage or had either of them been married before - it's just that William would have been about 30 at the time and that's a bit older than usual in those days.

not sure the reg district is cardigan or sub newport because llanrhian is in pembrokeshire and wud be registered under haverfordwest
