Im looking to see if anyone can find out who Nathaniel Baxters parents were and when he was baptised. I know it is a long shot. He was born about 1804 in Bury St Edmunds Suffolk. Please

Looks as though his first wife died and from this marriage there's a chance he went on to marry his wife's sister.

If you buy a copy of the cert. it should at least give you the name of his father and his occupation, which may help find a baptism, or his parents on the census records.

I only posted baptism as a possible, but it doesn't mean just because he says he was born in Bury St.Edmunds that he was baptised there.
Lots of children were baptised in the town, or village where the mother was born so I wouldn't dismiss it straight away.
