Find Ancestors

It has been a long while since I asked for help on this one with No luck so here goes.
Alfred's Father Edward married Annie Tonkinson maiden name Hodgkiss Dec 1878,they had both been widowed and had children so a mixed family,they went on to have Horace 1880,Alfred 1882.
I am struggling to find Alfred's passage out to Australia where he married my MIL'
Mother Ethal Tindale in WA on 7th Dec 1918 ,somewhere around 1910 we think he came to OZ..

My MIL 's father died when she was 5 and she has no Photos of him ,she is 95 and would love to see what he looked like.
Is there anyone that can me find this man, I am Hoping to trace any of his siblings to follow the lines and hopefully find some live rellies who may have some photo's back in the UK.

Thankyou yes that is the same Family and Alfred was a carpenter,thankyou I did not have that census. :-) :-)

No record of emigration on FMP

Some said he went by the name of Fred,might try that as I can't find a passage on

Ancestry either :-(

Are you in touch with the other GR member who has him in her tree?

I have just got a contact on Ancestry that has one of the Grandson Gritty found and

am trying to get in contact with them,looks promising.Edward is in their tree Marrying Annie.

Jones is the worst name to search and I have had many brick wall with this one all dead ends I am afraid.

This one looks good though,Hopefully they have some family Photos that they may let me have a look at.

That looks good Gritty ,he did play around alot with his age ,he was def a

carpenter,he could have gone to NZ first a lot did back then.

Hope this contact on Ancestry gets back it looks very good. :-)

PS he was born 20th Dec 1882 so age not to far out,I have his Birth Cert
