Where did you find that the document exists?

Do you know anything about the man than merely his name?

I am not sure as there are two Robert Hookeys, (1) Robert Hookey born Membury (Devon) c. 1718. and I have found a Membury M.I. for Robert Hookey son of William Hookey of Christchurch died at Membury 22-2-1771 aged 32. b. c 1739.

I found this document on the National Archive site, it states that the certificate is held at the Devon Heritage centre (South West Heritage Trust) Ref; QS/21/1766/15.
I was therefore wondering if I contacted them for a copy would I obtain any useful information.

A quick email to the centre asking what they might contain would probably help
