Yes this does seem to be her. How do i find out what happened to her? Thought she married and had children

EDIT: No - ignore this post - there are no likely marriages showing for her anywhere in England/Wales 1940-69.






She may have married, had children, and then divorced and reverted to her maiden name, but without knowing where she might have been living, it's impossible to tell.

There are no likely marriages showing in either Nottinghamshire or Staffordshire, but she could have married anywhere.

I'm not sure what is shown on present-day death certs in England. Would it mention an ex-husband?

thank you. No death certificate and very little info. Dad thought she had married and was in leicester area at one point but hit a brick wall

Jacqueline, it might be worth while buying a copy of the death cert to see what it says - the informant's name might provide a clue, perhaps? Could be her child, if she had any.

Even though we can't find a probable marriage for her, she might still have had a child/children.
