I am looking for any confirmed info on Isaac as to Birth in Ireland ? and to parents ?

Have you any more info. at all about Isaac. Did he stay in Ireland. Did he marry, if so do you know who he married and the year.

Is he on 1841, 1851 and 1861 census in Chipstead, Surrey ?

They all say born in Ireland

A tree on ancestry has this for his parents. There is no evidence to back this up though.

Well, looks like you can discount this one as his 'mother' died 3 years before he was born!!

That tree also has 10 children born to Isaac and Elizabeth. Should not be too difficult to find records for them.

There are a few people on ancestry with this family in their tree, but apart from the one I pasted (which is obviously incorrect) none have his place of birth or parents.

This note has been added to one tree.


Surname Shove rhymes with "stove" and is pronouced the same as the French word "chauve" (meaning "bald") which may be a clue to the families origins.
