wow thank you so much for finding all of that and it has marys parents on her death so that is fantastic. Does that now rule out Bridgett and James Vandeleur? Now to find them in ireland which is no easy thing to do,

Robert died 1874- An article on his death (a fatal accident on the railway) is in the Geelong Advertiser, Saturday 16 May 1874. There are also several other articles which can be searched here:

I am not sure James and Bridget are her parents if they are they are not listing Mary as their child.

I didn't have any proof that these were her parents and don't have birth dates etc or much more information on her parents just the above names, they were taken off other trees to get a start with. I am aware Robert and Mary had 5 children as I found them in Aust births in ancestry as follows

Margaret McNamara born approx. 1800-1818 who married James
Vandeleur
and had a daughter named Mary Vandeleur about 1836 in Sixmilebridge
(Kilfinaghta parish), Co. Clare, Ireland. The daughter migrated to
Victoria, Australia and married Robert Anderson, a Scotsman.

I have no more information on her parents just a name which come off another tree and one of the posts above, I have written to these people that posted this information but the email bounced back so they have probably changed phone providers etc. It was just somewhere to start my search. so what I was after if at all possible is dob for mary and information such as dob for her parents, their parents details such as marriage details and any more children etc I don't mind taking information from other trees but like to confirm the details but unfortunately I have't been able to find much so I asked the question on this site.

Mary was born abt 1836 in Six Mile Bridge County Clare Ireland and is the daughter of James Vandeleur and Mary McNamara. Mary come to Victoria Australia and married scotsman Robert Anderson in 1859. They had 5 children. I would love to hear from anyone that has any information on James and Mary

I am not sure if the second one is correct unless he has made a mistake with the first wifes christian name. It does sound like the same family though doesn't it. I tried to email the first person but it bounced straight back after all it was put on roots in 2000. I will also try and email the second man and see if I can get onto him but that was put up many years ago as well

I think she may have been born abt 1838 (that is what a couple of ancestry trees have and died 1906 in Victoria Aus

I am trying to find any information on Mary Vandeleur. Mary at some point come to Victoria Australia, I don't know who her parents were or where she come from. She married Robert Anderson in 1859 In Victoria and had several children. I would also love to find out more about Robert as well, when he got to australia and parents etc
