Hi,
does anyone have any ancestors with these surnames(all variants of the same surname)in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire that they've traced back from as far back as the early days of parish records(1540's/70's)-1650 ish.

I'ld love to hear from you.I've hit a brick wall .So please help.

Thanks

Susan the chances that anyone actually related will see your message are very slim

two things to do

- search family trees at this site to look for people who share ancestors with you and try to contact them through the links there

- give some details of the early ancestors you have identified and whose ancestors you are trying to trace, so that other members can help you (which is what actually happens on these boards - browse a few threads to see how it works) ... otherwise you may get random postings of possibly related people ... who are either already known to you or unrelated to you

also say what sources you have looked at for info, e.g. family search

have you seen Wendy's thread about Nottinghamshire archives?
