I'm in Whitchurch and have the parish records - I'll take a look

Thomas and Sara married on the 24th August 1835

I found a Sara Howells born 16th December 1818, father William, mother Mary

with regard to Hedges before the marriage date, I can see Hopkin Hedges, son of Hopkin Hedges born 16th December 1810

Thanks everyone for your time and assistance spent with my request re Thomas Hedges & Sarah Howells.
The reason why I asked this question was that on the 1841 census Thomas Hedges was listed as married to Mary Hedges and there were three children, Mary 7, Amy 5, Ann 3,& John 1. However the date of marriage was 1839 so I assumed that 3 of the children were from a previous marriage ,and seeing that there was a marriage listed in 1835 I carried on searching for new information.I guess I was wrong.
It looks as if the date of Thomas marriage to Mary is incorrect or they decided to marry later,maybe their conscience finally got to them.
Any way once again thanks for your help.
