Hi, I'm not holding out much hope that anyone will be able to help me further with this as I've been trying for years, but just in case!! before I sign them off on my written family account as unaccounted for! here goes:: Alfred Blundell, baptised Alfred Blundell Pearce (born the year before his parents marriage) born 1836 baptised 20/12/1836 Michelmersh Hampshire, parents Joseph Blundell & Sarah Pearce. Have him in 1841 &1851 at home with parents & siblings under just Blundell, in 1861 he could possibly be a boarder at Stockbridge with an Elton Family & shown as a Wheelwright, (he came from a family of farmers & brickmakers) although birthplace shown as Awbridge Wilts, (Awbridge next to Michelmersh) rest of entries for the household seem to be dittoed wilts after wifes BP, so that Stockbridge becomes both hants & wilts! After this I cannot find any trace of Alfred either in Censusus or Marriage or death, Only other clue: his fathers will written in 1882 mentions all living siblings but not him!
Then I have his brother Luther born 1847 bap. 22/3/1847 Timsbury Hants. in 1851 & 1861 at home with Parents & in 1871 as a Lodger (gardener) with a Cogger family at Snooks Farm Lymington, again after that no trace in censuses or marriage or deaths, but he is mentioned in Josephs will written in 1882 so presumed alive then even though no trace in 1881. I did see a record for a Luther Blundell born England in New Zealand on Ancestry but would need to up sub to worldwide to access & for such a long shot!? So if anyone can find anything other than the above info on either of these two brothers it would be fantastic as they are the last two to sort out of 10 siblings. Thank you, Lynn.

The Arthur seems less likely being Arthur not Alfred & also 4yrs younger, but know better than to rule anything out! do you know if he is also British born?

From the Auckland Star 2 May 1919

BLUNDELL ****
On May 1st 1919 at the residence of Mr. T. Vivian, 17 Sentinel Road, after a short illness, Luther Blundell ****, gardener for the late William Mason Bayfield.

The copy on 'PapersPast' is very faint and difficult to read but there is a word after Blundell (both times) which is illegible almost like a second surname.
However the death is registered as Luther Blundell

1919/2442
Blundell
Luther
