Hi, I'm trying to trace a army friend of my late father, they served in Germany in ww2 around 1937-39? They were both called Henry and were best friends. The Henry I am looking for married a german lady called Hannilore Dabelstein. I think he too lived in Watford Herts.

There are some Hammond births in the 1950s and 60s UK, assuming they came back here, with the mother's maiden name Dabelstein, Hereford, might be worth looking at

There is a tree on here that has the two daughters Hammond /Dabelstein on, but the membership number is very old, might be worth trying a message though?
