looking for a james burn (paper maker) but could also be a labourer with regards to census information.
i believe he may have died between 1851 and 1854 give or take a couple of years.

No point posing the same question twice within half hour of each other. Information gets duplicated wasting members time and effort.

The only way to know if any of those deaths are your James, is to buy the certs.

If he did indeed die in the 1850's, there's nothing more we can find out about him online.

I don't see any sign of his marriage in Co Durham.

I remember this family from some time ago (not sure if it was Sean or another poster) when we were looking for a marriage for James & Mary.

hi sorry for the confusion proplems with the laptop didnt relise it had posted twice.
yes potty i have asked about mary burn before and you gave me lots of help. i am member of a lot of sites and ats come to a point where i dont know what ive posted haha..so if there was no marriage between james and mary and she just took his name on would the only answer be to send away for all these death certs of james burn burns byrne etc. also not sure if i have asked this before but when mary had her first daughter whom i believe to be mary ann (marian) st nicholas poorhouse 1821 would there not be any record of the mothers maiden namen anywhere.
no poor house records for durham before 1880s i think

thanks
sorry any for the confusion people

Having re-read both your threads, Sean, it looks as if you may just have to accept that you've reached a dead end.

Frustrating though it is, most of us have at least one somewhere in our trees!
