Yes, I know some people will say "you have already asked this question at least FOUR times already" but susanah Ball is bugging the heck out of me :-(

I know for a fact that she died in 1889, she had her granddaughter Ellen living with her in 1871 and in 1841 was living with her husband, in 1851 there is a Susan Balle that could be her.

As far as I can tell she has always lived on Exe Street in Exeter, Devon, (England :-D)

So in 1861 & 1881 - she is where???

The Woodland family were at 24 Exe Street in 1881 (but no Susannah with them)- but it looks likely that Susannah was with her son's wife's family when she died.

There is a lot of good guesses there. (I AM getting better at giving you all info. but I still need practice)

Joseph Ball ( her husband) died in 1848 (death certificate) of consumption and he was a butcher :-)
tHEY HAD 3 CHILDREN John 1831 - 1832 (church records)
My great great great grandfather John William 1833 - 1886 buried the day before he died(which is kind of funny) and yes he was in the mill leat. (pushed, slipped, jumped????)
and William Robert 1836 - ? (church records) Never have figured out what happened to him.

her daughter-in-law sarah was the witness at her death :-) Another good guess. (Boy you guys are good) Ok she died on Exe Street but Sarah lived in Dinham Road. So either she lived by herself or ???

Susannah & Joseph had 9 grandchildren, so I guess she would be anywhere.

I'll get my cousin to contact the Heritage centre. She needs something to do, I'm sure.

The 1851 census I'm not sure about either but it seems to be the only surname that is close, but maybe I'm being blind again.
