I am looking for the address Newlyn Ack-Lane Bramhall Cheshire in 1939 or before. The address is given on a Probate Record for Cecilia Owens who died on 26/09/1939 at the County Mental Hospital Macclesfield. age 45. I can find Ack Lane East and West on searches and maps so I guess the 'Newlyn' is like a House Name? Cecilia did not live with her Parents during this period as they lived at Church Road Gatley Stockport. Thank you Kind Regards Pam

Ack Lane is quite a long road looking at the images on the 1911 census and quite a few of the houses have house names.

Thank You. I was wondering if the house was a 'special kind' that had a connection to the fact that Cecilia died in the County Mental Hospital Macclesfield which was further away? Thanks again Pam
