Hi,everybody.Just given these quite vague details from the friend of a friend,so know nothing about this family. Can you help?
William Bulloch,(no details) married an Elizabeth de Falco,(apparently born,Naples.Italy),c.1929. No marriage details. They had a son William,b.c.1948, who married Josephine Murphy,b.c.1951.William junior died in the 1970's apparently.Josephine Murphys parents were Hugh Murphy,b.c.1926.and Catherine Smith b.c.1928.The details say Catherine's father was Lawrence Smith(originally called Spencer???)As I said, all a bit vague and why a name change,I have no idea.
A bit of a puzzle,don't you think??
All help appreciated,regards Terry L.

They married in Glasgow in 1944.

To get the detail you need to order the cert from Scotlands people.

Thanks for that info.I suppose the hardest part,to research, will be the Italian side. This is obviously more than the friend of a friend has anyway.
Cheers,Terry L.

William and Elizabeth's marriage cert will give you their parents' names, which might help with the De Falco research.

There's only 14 de Falco deaths in Scotland between 1855 and 2014 and 8 births for the same period.

There's a thread on General Chat telling you how to get 20 free credits for Scotlandspeople. Use that to have a look at the death indexes - rather interesting as even some of the male deaths show that they have been known by more than one surname.
