Trying to find husband's uncle, John Westland Stuart b. 05/05/1896 in Aberdeen.
His parents were Charles Edward Stuart and Isabella Lindsay Mearns.
He married Mary Armstrong Findlay on 28/08/1920. Since then I have been unable
to find them. I have details of all the other family only ones missing. Husband and
siblings are unaware they had an uncle John so may have gone abroad.
Thank you Heather

Have you looked for possible births for any children, possibly in Aberdeen in 1921, surname Stuart, associated name Findlay. (Sorry, not used to scotlandspeople site so hope have found one)

Added: Think I have gone wrong, got 429 matches when I increased the search years.

Heather

Heather Report 11 Apr 2016 22:47

Also a Charles (named after grandfather?) in Montrose, Angus in 1922.
Would have to order certs as hundred year thing. Both names sound very
Promising.

Heather

Heather Report 11 Apr 2016 22:51

This is very possible as Mary's mother's name was Betsy

I think that's the marriage Austin. SP indexes don't give the mother's full name on indexes.

Change your title to include - now need help in Canada - so you can get more local help, more strict on privacy there, also.
