Hi Maddie, This is our man and we now know his wifes name, however I have not been able to find even these results on family search and nothing else on either of them. if we could just find a marriage we might get that all important fathers name.
I have tried all the travel records also with no luck. I have found a number of people with the Foot name and obvious German first names and they seem to gather in the Phillipi area of the Cape. Any idea's about SA census? Thanks, Lesley
