Ho Hum! A Wrong Turning after the marriage then :-(

Never-the-less, thank you for working it out.

It does beg the question....what happened to Thomas Jarrett and Elizabeth Banner after they married in 1848? Its the Banner descendent line I'm interested in, rather than Jarrett ancestors.

It seems that a lot of people on Ancestry have made the same mistake!

Just so we know what we're looking for age wise- is this the Elizabeth Mary that we're looking for?

Yes, that's the correct Elizabeth Mary Banner.

There's just too many B* Jarretts!

AustinQ

AustinQ Report 16 Apr 2016 17:23

How about this- perhaps someone can confirm it/ or prove it totally wrong!

Elizabeth marries Thomas Jarrett- as marriage above in 1848. Thomas dies between 1848- 1851.

Elizabeth remarries- there are lots of errors on this transciption- I can't see the original, but I'm hoping the original gives her father's name as Banner (not Brown). Her husband is actually Walter (not Walker):
