Find Ancestors

I am helping daughter do her husband's family tree. We are looking at the children of:
Joshua Mahoney born 1864. Place of birth has been listed as East London and also Dublin & Eliza Ann Rothwell born London 1872. They married in Whitechapel London 1887

We have children as Lucy 1887, Arthur, Edward, George and Mary Ann (1892) as confirmed. We also believe there were two other children James(Jim) and Elizabeth.

We can not find the family on the 1901 census.

(Mary Ann is the direct ancestor of son in law. She married 3 times. Arthur T Nash. McDuell and Heard.)

Main information required is whether the two children James and Elizabeth did exist, and what happened to them, are there any descendants? Thanks for your help
