Hello Community folk,
Wondering if any of you are related to Hodgkinson family who came from Nantwich or in the Crewe area in the UK.
My Grandmother, Kitty Hodgkinson was born in Nantwich and lived in Crewe.
She had brothers William, Frank, and sisters Ada, Lillian and Dorothy.
I do have links with Ada's Granddaughter here in Australia, and with Frank's Granddaughters in Cheshire, but would love to link up with any relatives from William and Lillian's families. Dorothy died and had no children.
Look forward to anyone who has connections.

I'm afraid that posting such a request on the Boards won't garner much help for you.
Only a few members actually look at theses Boards .......... what you do get is a number of members who love to help others, so we'll all dive in and try to find the records for your ancestors, whether you want that or not :-D
To find iut if any members are linked to the Hodgkinson family that you are looking for, you have to search member trees yourself.
Go to Search at the top right.
Click on it, and then click on Search All Member Trees
Enter the information asked for in the boxes and then submit.
If there are any member trees with matching information, they will be shown in a listing.
You then have to contact each individual member by pm (private message) ........... simply click on the member's name and send a message.
Please do not simply click on any of the automatic messages, give a short explanation of why you think you might have a connection.
GR will send a message to the member's email address, and o=you should get an email IF they reply via pm
You will have to watch your Sent Messages to see if the message has been opened.
Click on Messages above, then click on Sent Messages.
If there is a green envelope next to the contact's name, the message has been opened
If there is no envelope, the message has been opened.
Be aware that members may not reply ............... they may be dead or disabled, or no longer interested in the site, or they may have changed their home email address without notifying GR of the change.
