Find Ancestors

Good morning Everyone,

I have a few inquiries about different members from the same Robson Family Line. I will start with Allan & Mary Elizabeth Robson. I have been able to find them in all but the 1891 census. Is there any reason a family would be on all censuses except one? Or am I missing something when I search? I also haven't been able to find their marriage. They had 12 children, 10 living and 2 deceased.On the 1911 census they were at Rochester st Walker Newcastle Upon Tyne. Any assistance would be much appreciated :) This leads me to my next question about one of their daughters, Ellen Robson, I found a marriage to a William Cunningham and a relative remembers they had a daughter Audrey and 2 boys William & Donald. I managed to find birth registers for the children but no death dates for Ellen & her husband or marriages for the children. The same relative remembers them living in Newbiggin Hall area. Any help or advice where to look would be great. I have tried Ancestry but have had no luck their either.

Sorry Chris Ho, I recorded all the info from that thread so I removed it. I am very grateful for all the help and it definitely did not go to waste :-) I have been gradually working my way through the family as it is quite large! This is one of the last members I have to find :-)

Hi again everyone,

I am trying to find birth and death registers for The above mentioned Robson family. On the 1911 census it is stated that Mary had given birth to 12 children and 2 were deceased. According to family one of those children was named Aaron Robson and on the 1901 census there was an Earn Albert age 3 that does not appear on any other censuses. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for that AustinQ. :-) I had thought maybe the names were misspelt or muddled! They had a bad habit of using middle names or nicknames!! William Smith Robson makes sense as William is used throughout the family and Smith was the mother Mary Elizabeth's maiden name. And the two women could be mother and daughter as they all lived in Rochester street at some stage :-) Thanks again
