Possibly mother Alice's death?? Age fits with that given in 1901 census.

Deaths Dec 1909 (>99%)

Was your Ernest an orphan please? Or perhaps his mother had died and his father was unable to look after him?

Karen Report 22 Jul 2016 22:36

I'm searching for any info about Ernest Meadowcroft b:1898 Oldham, Lancs. He ended up in a 'Scattered Home" and was sent to Canada in 1910. Does anyone have any international access or is anyone from Canada able to help?

Thanks
Karen
