Hi, trying to find information on John W Littlewood showing born in 1911 on this census in Leeds West Yorkshire in the same year living in Tinsley, South East Rotherham.
His parents James Helliwell Littlewood mother Esther Ann Littlewood (nee Wright).his sister's Gertrude, Blanche and Bertha, the family moved from Leeds and settled in Rotherham. (Both parents died in Sheffield)
(Just to confuse the issue I also have a boy with the same name who died in 1899 laid to rest in Woodhouse cemetery Leeds this is included with some of my family but no details other than death 22/10/1899-2 months?)
But if anyone could help at least on the 1911 boy and his where abouts it would be much appreciated.
Thank you. Val.

The 1911 census says that they had 4 children and 1 had died. There are 3 on the census, Blanche, Bertha and John W. I had assumed that the first John W. was the one who had died but you mention a sister Gertrude. Was she the one who died?

I see on the 1901 census that Gertrude is 2 years older than Blanche so if she's still living in 1911, perhaps working as a servant somewhere then they have 4 children still living.

?? A possibility for Gertrude in 1911

Are you sure that the John W Littlewood who died aged 2 months in 1899 is of this family or could he be a relative buried in a family grave?

Had a hard time finding Gertrude in 1911 but I think this is her. Looks like Littklewood to me on the original:

This boy is listed in the family vault but as you say it could be that he is a child of someone in the family, it is such a coincidence of same name just birth year.
And yes the census does not help, originally I thought perhaps this 1911 John W is the second son?
