	is it possible to search the 1939 census by address only

	Possible by area I just tried putting High Brooms in the area and got a list of the southborogh area which it came under . Tried this as I was evacuated there in 1939! This was on FMP

	You can search by town and street name but not the house number specifically. Kath. x

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 10,494 Send Message	You need to be not too specific i.e. I would put Wilford Lane in Nottingham, but doesn't show up. By putting just Nottinghamshire, it does then show as it's in West Bridgford UD not Nottingham CB
