Hi would someone with access to Ancestry's New York Directories 1948 look up Arnold JORGENSEN last known address when he died 1949 was 452 West 47th Street Manhattan..

Can't spot any Jorgensen's at that address. Do you have the name of a surviving wife we could look for or cross match elsewhere?

Yes that's him he was a Merchant Seaman, San Diego was where a ship he was on was docked when he died his address was 425 West 47th St New York..He wasn't married but had a girlfriend he had met from Liverpool..we don't know her name this is why I wondered about the Directory...he's not at that address in 1940..1942 is the earliest shipping record I can find....we think he met the girl in Liverpool UK.. and she followed him over no mention of her in his will either.
